We have been busy outside this spring.  The warm weather has allowed us to get started on several projects we've been wanting to get done for a few years now.

Rain barrels - we've got two and could use more.

Super fancy three-bin compost system.  Used pallets and zip-ties are all you need.

Landscaping - still lots to do here, but it feels good to get started.

 The biggie - finally getting our garden going.  We've been talking about it for three years, and finally decided now was the time.  I borrowed a tiller from Kenny - it pays to have a father-in-law with an equipment rental store - and got to work.

1000 sq. ft. later.

 A trip to the city for compost

 Two truckloads for $25

Not much left, and we need even more.

 Can't wait to start planting!!
